I’ve been taking a bruisin’ for not brewsing enough. My bad, as we used to say. There is just soooo much going on. I took a trip the middle of last month. Then there was the closing and renovation of Hop Devil Grill. I guess everyone thinks we are rich and hire a big contractor. Uh, no. That ain’t how it worked.
Fortunately, we are pretty handy with the tools and paint brushes, so we did it all ourselves. Our good friend David designed and installed the new AV system so we can watch sports, and hear them too! Music is just rockin’ now. Then there is the usual day to day. Ordering. Paying bills. Dealing with and managing staff. Fighting with the government, our landlords, and bums who walk ion off the street. Its always something. Not to mention that things don’t always work out as planned. Why wouldn’t a brand new television work? Or stop working as it were. It was on when our AV guy was here, then it wasn’t. Not receiving the video input, although it was. Everything remains the same. Still working on that little issue.
Anyway, I hope to make amends. Hop Devil Grill is revamped; looking good, sounding good and a whole lot more going on. Not only is there great beer, there is great food too. Sangria too. Soon to be, HDG will have a brandy spankin’ new frozen margarita machine what with to impress the non-beer-lovin’ ladies out there. Don’t fret gents, you can drink what you want. Let the ladies drink what they want. If they want a tasty sangria, join ‘em I say. Don’t fight them.
